The Pilz 772136 (Model: PNOZ m ES EtherCAT) is a high-performance, non-safety fieldbus communication expansion module designed exclusively for the PNOZmulti 2 configurable control system. This module functions as an EtherCAT Slave (supporting CANopen over EtherCAT) to facilitate rapid, reliable bidirectional transmission of non-safety-related operational data, diagnostic information, and control signals between the PNOZmulti 2 base controller and high-level control units or PLCs. Configured easily using the Pilz PNOZmulti Configurator software, it features 128 virtual inputs and outputs to streamline complex diagnostic networking.
