The B&R Automation X20-BM01 is a high-performance, 24VDC keyed power supply bus module engineered for the modular X20 I/O platform. This base unit serves as both the mechanical foundation and the electrical backplane interface for X20 power supply modules (such as the X20PS series). Designed for complex, multi-zone control architectures, the X20-BM-01 explicitly interrupts the internal I/O power supply line originating from the left side of the terminal block. This feature enables control engineers to seamlessly establish distinct, isolated potential groups and fresh power feeds anywhere along a single DIN rail layout. Simultaneously, its integrated X2X Link connection ensures that system data and communication flow across the backplane remain uninterrupted. Its tool-free, modular design drastically reduces wiring complexity, limits downtime during module swaps, and optimizes panel space.
