The Siemens 3UF7010-1AU00-0 is the central “Basic Unit” of the SIMOCODE pro V PROFIBUS motor management system. By decoupling the control logic from the PLC, it can autonomously execute starter functions (like direct-on-line, reversing, or star-delta) while transmitting critical operational data to the automation system via a PROFIBUS DP network.
